OVERVIEW

On this Trip we get a chance to visit India’s Best three wildlife reserves Pench, Kanha & Bandhavgarh National Parks situated in the state of Madhya Pradesh. By doing 15 game drives in these beautiful parks we maximize our chance to see major diversity of Indian wildlife, i.e variety of deer’s, antelopes, monkeys, wild boar, jackal, bison, wild dogs, sloth bear, leopard and the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Besides the mammals you will also witness wide colorful profusion of birds. Pench, Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks are teeming with a variety of wildlife and all have something different to offer. All are ideal for viewing both predator and their prey in their natural habitat.

DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN DELHI

After arrival at Delhi Airport, meet our DIH representative who’ll escort you to the one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Delhi the capital city of India is always alive with activity. The major tourist attractions scheduled for the day are Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, President’s House, Lotus Temple and Chandni Chowk. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

DAY 2
DELHI - AGRA

Have breakfast, followed by an early morning assisted transfer to Agra. On arrival, check in to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Your post lunch sightseeing is going to include visits to the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal, was built on the orders of Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan. He had built this white-colored marble mausoleum in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort, also known as Red Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. Also visit the Itimad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Both the Agra Fort and Itimad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb are famous for their brilliant architecture. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Agra.

DAY 3
AGRA - GWALIOR

Begin this morning with an alluring view of the Taj Mahal during sunrise. Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, is the most extravagant monument ever built. After exploring the epitome of love, return to the hotel for breakfast and then check out. Leave for Gwalior. Upon reaching Gwalior, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Gwalior covering Gwalior fort, Sas-Bahu temples and the Archaeological Museum. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Gwalior.

DAY 4
GWALIOR - KHAJURAHO

Post breakfast, straight drive to Khajuraho. India's most titillating town is famed far and wide for the erotic stone carvings that swathe Khajuraho’s three groups of World Heritage–listed temples. The Western Group of temples, in particular, contains some stunning sculptures that together make up some of the finest temple art in the world. Upon arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Evening at leisure. Dinner and Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.

DAY 5
KHAJURAHO

Post breakfast, proceed on a guided tour to Khajuraho. Start driving towards the group of famous Chandela dynasty temples. These temples are known worldwide for their spectacular, erotic sculptures and carvings depicting verses from the Kamasutra. The Western Group of Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu includes the Kandariya Mahadeo temple, the Matangesvara Temple , the Lakshmana Temple, and the Varaha Temple. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Khajuraho.

DAY 6
KHAJURAHO – BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK

Post breakfast, begin driving to the Bandhavgarh National Park. Known for its highest density of tiger population in India, this national park is also a breeding ground for various species of deer and leopards. Once you arrive at the national park, complete the check-in formalities at the resort. In the afternoon, post lunch, indulge in wildlife viewing during a jungle safari. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Bhandhavgarh.

DAY 7
BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK

Day 7 of the tour is for wildlife safaris inside Bandhavgarh, accompanied by a naturalist. Once in the morning and then in the afternoon. You have an option of a jeep safari or an elephant safari. Covering an area of 446 sq. km, this national park houses a vast variety of exotic flora and fauna. During your safari, you can spot animals like sambar, Bengal tigers, sloth bear, grey mongoose, python, rat snake, red jungle fowl, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar and more. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Bhandhavgarh.

DAY 8
BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK

8th day of the tour is for bird watching along with tiger-tracking. Bandhavgarh national park is known for being home to as many as 150 avifauna species. You can spot a number of colourful birds such as Bay Backed Shrike, White Eyed Buzzard, Indian Moorhen, Olive Backed Pipit, Black Headed Oriole, Yellow Crowned Woodpecker, Barred Button Quail, White Browed Fantail Flycatcher, Rose Ringed Parakeet, Alexandrine Parakeet and more. An added attraction of the day is a visit to the Bandhavgarh fort, located inside the park. Placed on a hill, this fort is around 811 meters above the sea level. It is believed this fort is 2000-years old. The fort has a total of 39 caves. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Bhandhavgarh.

DAY 9
BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK – KANHA NATIONAL PARK

Post breakfast, hit the road to Kanha National Park (approx. 6 hrs), one of the most well-maintained national parks in Asia. This park was an inspiration behind the popular novel by Rudyard Kipling, ‘The Jungle Book’. Spread in 940 sq. km of land, this national park has Indian wild dogs, Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, leopards, and Barasingha in good numbers. Arrival at the national park in the afternoon. Check-in at resort/Lodge. Have your lunch. The rest of the day is free for you to indulge in leisure activities such as taking a walk in the nearby area, treating your eyes to the lush greenery around, interacting with the park’s naturalist and so on. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Kanha.

DAY 10
KANHA NATIONAL PARK

Day 10 for tiger safaris inside the Kanha National Park- one in the morning and then one in the evening. Along with exploring the exotic variety of the park, also treat your eyes to the verdant flora that is spread around. Kanha is known for housing more than 1000 species of flowering plants. During wildlife viewing, you can spot varied animals and birds like , chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, jackal fox, tiger, sambar, gaur, pea fowl, mongoose, leopard, python, spur fowl, ring doves, kingfishers, finches, woodpeckers, flycatchers, pintails, pond herons, rock pigeons, papihas, cuckoos, parakeets, green pigeons and so on. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Kanha.

DAY 11
KANHA NATIONAL PARK

Day 11 for tiger safaris inside the Kanha National Park- one in the morning and then one in the evening. Along with exploring the exotic variety of the park, also treat your eyes to the verdant flora that is spread around. Rest of the day for leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Kanha.

DAY 12
KANHA NATIONAL PARK – PENCH NATIONAL PARK

Once you have your breakfast, get transferred to the Pench national park by road. Covering an area of around 758 sq. km of land, this national park is the original setting of the Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book’. This national park also finds its mention in Ain-i-Akbari, because of its natural wealth. In 2011, Pench also won the Best Management Award. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities at resort. Relish hot lunch. Later, partake in wildlife viewing inside the park. The park has 39 mammal species, 13 species of reptiles and 3 species of amphibians. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Pench.

DAY 13
PENCH NATIONAL PARK

On the 13th day of the tour, enjoy wildlife safari inside the park in the morning and evening. During game viewing, you can spot several animal and bird species such as barking deer, sloth bear, porcupine, fox, Jungle cat, chowsingha, tigers, panthers, wild dog, lesser whistling teal, egret, racket-tailed drongo, chital, spotted deer, pintail, herons, magpie robin, barbet, red-vented bulbul and more. Enjoy an overnight stay at the resort in Pench.

DAY 14
PENCH NATIONAL PARK - NAGPUR

Today is the last day of the tour, when after breakfast at the resort, get transferred to the Nagpur airport to board a flight for your onward destination. The tour ends with the sweet memories with Delightful India Holiday.
