ITINERARY
DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN DELHI
After arrival at Delhi Airport, meet our DIH representative who’ll escort you to the one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Delhi the capital city of India is always alive with activity. You will be amazed to see colorful crowds moving through public places like markets. In the evening you may venture out to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.

DAY 2 DELHI
After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. On the 2nd day of the tour, embark on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions scheduled for the day are Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, President’s House, Lotus Temple and Chandni Chowk. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show.

DAY 3 DELHI – VARANASI (BY FLIGHT)
After the breakfast, transfer to the airport for boarding the flight to Varanasi. On arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels. In the afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city. Here you will be visiting Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka Pillar and Sarnath Archaeological Museum.

DAY 4 VARANASI
Next morning enjoy the boat ride in the holy river Ganges on a visit to bathing ghats. Later in the day enjoy a City tour of Varanasi which would cover places like the Bharat Mata Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple and the Alamgir temple. In the evening you have the option of exploring the Banaras Hindu University for visiting the Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb.

DAY 5 VARANASI – KHAJURAHO (BY FLIGHT)
After having breakfast you will be assisted for transfer to the airport to board a flight to Khajuraho which was once regarded as the original capital of the Chandels and is popular as a temple spot in India. Assistance and transfer to the hotel upon the arrival. Later embark on a guided tour of Khajuraho. Start with the visit to group of famous Chandela dynasty temples. These temples are worldwide known for their spectacular erotic sculptures and carvings depicted in them. The Western Group of temples that are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu includes the Kandariya Mahadeva temple, the Matangeshwar temple, the Lakshmana temple, and the Varaha temple.

DAY 6 KHAJURAHO - ORCHHA
After the breakfast drive to Orchha. On arrival, check in to the hotel. The town of Orchha is located on the banks of the Betwa River and possesses a fort that dates from the early 17th century and also of the various other historic buildings. Step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Orchha like the Jehangiri Mahal, the Raj Mahal and the Laxminarayan temple that are famous for their fine frescoes and mural paintings.

DAY 7 ORCHHA - CHANDERI
Post breakfast, drive to Chanderi. Upon arrival, check in to hotel. Chanderi is a small historical town in Madhya Pradesh. It is gradually making a very important place for itself in the Indian tourism map. Visit Chanderi Fort, it dates back to the Mughal Period and stands tall on top of a hill. Koshak Mahal, This Mahal was built by Mahmud Khilji of Malwa in 1445 A.D. The palace is divided into four equal parts and is reflective of very good architectural skills.

DAY 8 CHANDERI – SANCHI - BHOPAL
Post breakfast, drive to Bhopal. On the way to stop at Sanchi. It is the home to Stupas the magnificent structures of ancient India. These Stupas have been declared as the world heritage sites by UNESCO consisting relics of the Buddha. The Sanchi Stupas contains ornamented depiction of from the life of the Buddha and his previous incarnations. Another major attraction to view is the Ashoka Pillar that is kept in museum maintained by the Archaeology department. Later in the day drive to Bhopal. Upon arrival, check in to hotel.

DAY 9 BHOPAL – BHIMBETKA – BHOJPUR - BHOPAL
Make a trip to the carved dream of King Bhoj and the abode of primeval cave dwellers at Bhimbetka.Bhojpur and Bhimbetka are admired getaway destinations near Bhopal. Bhimbetka is famous for it rock shelters which are home to some rock paintings and cave art, while Bhojpur is known for temples.

DAY 10 BHOPAL - INDORE
On the 10th day post breakfast, check out from hotel in the morning and head forward to Indore city. En-route halt at Ujjain for a guided tour to visit some major tourist attractions like Bhartrihari Caves, Kaliadeh Palace, Mahakaleshwara Temple, Ved Shala and Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir. Then restart for Indore. On arrival, transfer to hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Indore.

DAY 11 INDORE - MANDU
Early morning drive straight to Mandu, for a guided tour that awaits you. This tour will cover all major sightseeing attraction like Roopmati’s Pavilion, Hoshang’s Tomb, Hindola Maha, Jahaz Mahal or Ship Palace and Ashrafi Mahal.

DAY 12 MANDU - MAHESHWAR
The 12th day of the tour is reserved for a visit to temple town of Maheshwar. Post breakfast, set in for a road journey to Maheshwar. Stop midway for sightseeing at the famous pilgrimage center of Omkareshwar. Also visit the Omkar Mandhata Temple, Akhar and an old palace. After that proceed to Maheshwar. On reaching Maheshwar check-in at the hotel for some rest and relax. Late in the afternoon go in for the sightseeing visits in the town.

DAY 13 MAHESHWAR - INDORE
