Overview
Kashmir and Ladakh are two different worlds in the extreme north of the Himalayan Mountains. The week long ‘Scenic Kashmir with Enchanting Ladakh’ journey will take you on a whirlwind tour across several popular destinations which include Srinagar, Sonamarg, Kargil, Drass, Ulleytokpo and Kardungla among others. During this 7 day journey, you’ll come across flower filled meadows in Sonamarg, high passes in Ladakh, Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and white sand dunes. Also, you can enjoy the balmy winds coming out of the Pangong Lake.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 SRINAGAR - KARGIL
In the morning, driver will pick you up and leave by road to Kargil, which is around 205 kilometers. On the way, halt in Sonamarg, which is around 94 kilometers away. Thereafter, you will leave for Drass village, famous as the second coldest place in the world. Here, you’ll visit the Kargil war memorial. In the evening, you’ll arrive in Kargil town and check into the hotel.

DAY 2 KARGIL – ULLEYTOKPO
Post breakfast in the morning, hit the road to Ulleytokpo, which is 160 kilometers away from Leh. On the way, visit an ancient rock-cut statue of Maitreya Buddha in Mulbekh village. Thereafter, make a stopover for photos of the lunar landscapes in proximity to the Lamayuru monastery. In the evening, you’ll arrive at the Ulley Resort and check into the hotel.
Enjoy an overnight stay in Ulleytokpo.
DAY 3 ULLEYTOKPO - LEH
Start your day with a road journey to Leh. On the way, visit Likir monastery, Hall of Fame and the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive in Leh followed by check-in at the hotel. Thereafter, rest for some time and fresh and up. In the evening around 4:00 PM, visit Shanti Stupa and the local bazaars in Leh.

DAY 4 ULLEY - LEH
The day 4 marks the full day sightseeing tour of the Indus Valley which include visits to Thiksey monastery, Shey Palace, Stok Place and Hemis monastery.

DAY 5 LEH – NUBRA VALLEY
In the morning, take a road journey to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass. In the afternoon, enjoy camel safari on the white sand dunes and explore Hunder, Diskit monasteries.
Enjoy an overnight stay in the Deluxe Camp.
DAY 6 NUBRA VALLEY - LEH
In the morning, visit the Samstanling monastery. In the afternoon, take a road trip back to Leh. The evening is free for individual activities.

DAY 7 LEH – PANGONG LAKE - LEH
In the morning, enjoy a full day excursion to Pangong Lake, one of the famous Blue lakes in Ladakh. In the evening, drive back to Leh.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE FROM LEH
This is the last day of your tour. Today morning, get transferred to the Leh airport to catch the flight for onward destination. The tour ends with the sweet memories with Delightful India Holidays.
