Haridwar, meaning gateway to the Gods, is an ancient pilgrimage site situated in the foothills of the Shivalik Range of the Himalayas. With lush green forests, the crystal clear waters of the Ganges river and mountains in the background, Haridwar is a holy city filled with charming beauty. In the evening, the ghats (bank of the Ganges river) looks beautiful as hundreds of diyas (lamps) and marigold flowers float and light up the Ganges river.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 DELHI - HARIDWAR

Our Haridwar Rishikesh tour package from Delhi to Haridwar begins from the national capital from where we have made your transport arrangements till Haridwar. You will see plenty of picturesque scenes in this journey as we leave the bustling metropolis of Delhi to enter the quaint small town of Haridwar. Once you check in to your hotel we shall proceed to participate in the famous Ganga Aarti. Here you will see one of the most magnetic sights of your lives. Let your mind be one with the divine as saffron-clad pujaris swing the massive aarti with fervor and send the earthen diyas floating in the holy river.

Later in the evening, return to the hotel and have a sumptuous dinner. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

DAY 2 HARIDWAR

On the second day of your tour, you will visit the famous Mansa Devi Temple. The temple is one of the topmost tourist destinations in the town and according to the legends, the Mansa Devi was a form of Goddess Shakti who was evolved from the mind of Sage Kashyap. There is an interesting ritual here, you ask a wish, then tie a thread to a holy tree, when your wish comes true you will then come back and untie the thread. We will see the gorgeous beauty of the Shivalik Hills as we take a ropeway ride towards the temple.

After a spiritually invigorating day, you will proceed towards the Ganga Ghat where another evening consisting of viewing the beautiful Ganga aarti awaits your presence.

Return to the hotel in the evening and have a delicious dinner. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Haridwar.

DAY 3 HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH

Today we will start the journey from Haridwar to Rishikesh which is considered to be the adventure capital of India. On this one day trip to Rishikesh, we will indulge in the white water rafting (subject to operation). Fell the rapids of the mighty Ganges give you an adrenaline surge as you compete with the waters to stay afloat!

After having a delicious lunch we will proceed towards Geeta Bhavan which is a holy ashram located on the banks of Ganga. Every year thousands of devotees come in this 1000 room complex to learn meditation and spend some spiritually enlightening time.

We will then visit the Prati Badri Kedarnath Temple where you will see a copy of the famous Badrinath and Kedarnath Temple of India.

Later in the evening, return to the camp. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Rishikesh.

DAY 4 RISHIKESH - DELHI

Today is the last day of your Haridwar Rishikesh tour and it is the time to return home. In the morning, after breakfast, check -out from the hotel and leave for Delhi. Our team members will meet you and assist you to board your onward flight back home. The tour comes to completion with the sweet and unforgettable memories with Delightful India Holidays.
