ITINERARY
Day 1 ARRIVAL IN DELHI
After arrival at Delhi Airport, meet our DIH representative who’ll escort you to the one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Delhi the capital city of India is always alive with activity. You will be amazed to see colorful crowds moving through public places like markets. In the evening you may venture out to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.

Day 2 DELHI
Next morning after breakfast, embark on Delhi sightseeing tour. The major tourist attractions of Delhi include Qutub Minar, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Red Fort, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, and the President’s House.
In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show. After your one day trip to Delhi, drop you back to hotel.

Day 3 DELHI – UDAIPUR (BY FLIGHT)
Today morning, get dropped to the airport to board the flight for Udaipur, after reaching Udaipur, transfer to the hotel, and complete the check –in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. Spend the day at leisure, interacting with the locals, eating authentic Rajasthan food, shopping at the local market etc.

Day 4 UDAIPUR
Post breakfast, embark on a city tour of Udaipur. Visit some of the major tourist hotspots covering the City Palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Folk Art Museum and Jagdish Temple. In the afternoon pay a visit to the Monsoon Palace situated on the hill that enhances the beauty of this magnificent city.
In the evening visit the City Palace located on the banks of Lake Pichola and also enjoy boat ride at the lake, subjected to water level in the lake.

Day 5 UDAIPUR – AJMER - PUSHKR
Today, you will be indulging in spiritual delights of the Golden Triangle with Rajasthan tour. In the morning after breakfast, drive to the holy city of Pushkar. Stop midway to visit Ajmer where the Dargah of the great Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is sited. The visitors from all faiths and sects come to take Saint’s blessings, as his blessings are infallible for all.
After the visit to Dargah, resume your drive to Pushkar. The city is one of the most sacred Hindu towns in India. Upon reaching Pushkar, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Later in the day attend the prayer ceremony at the Brahma temple.

Day 6 PUSHKR - JAIPUR
Post breakfast, drive straight to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at one our enlisted hotels. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is also called the Pink City. The reason for this is that most of the monuments in Jaipur are painted pink. Later in the day explore some other major tourist attractions of Jaipur including the Monkey Temple, Albert Hall Museum, and Birla Mandir. Evening to be spent as to your liking.

Day 7 JAIPUR
After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for exploring the various colors of this beautiful city, Jaipur. Jaipur is full of attractions that speak volumes about the glory of Rajputana kingdom. These attractions form a part of our itinerary and we start with visiting the Amber Fort which is tucked over a hill (reached via an elephant ride). Next we will be visiting the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, splendid Hawa Mahal built on the architectural principles of a natural cooling system and splendiferous City Palace and Jal Mahal. Enjoying the local treats like shopping, food and rickshaw ride are reserved for evening.

Day 8 JAIPUR - AGRA
Post breakfast, leave for Agra by road. Stop on the way to visit Abhaneri-Step well and Ftehpur Sikri. Later, drive towards Agra. On reaching Agra, check-in to the hotel and later visit the Pearl Mosque and the tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Another must watch architectural wonder, is The Red Fort that is frequented by hundreds of visitors every day. In the evening return to the hotel
Later proceed to see sunset at Taj from Mehtab Bagh Garden. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 9 AGRA - GWALIOR
Early morning visit the Taj Mahal, the seventh wonder of the world and admire for its majestic and magnificent architecture design. This alluring white marble monument with intricate designs in its interiors never fails to enchant a visitor.
After breakfast, leave for Gwalior. Upon reaching Gwalior, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Gwalior covering Gwalior fort, Sas-Bahu temples and the Archaeological Museum.

Day 10 GWALIOR - KHAJURAHO
On the 10th day of the Golden Triangle tour with Khajuraho, drive straight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, proceed for a guided tour to Khajuraho. Start driving towards the group of famous Chandela dynasty temples.
These temples are worldwide known for their spectacular erotic sculptures and carvings. The Western Group of temples that are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu includes the Kandariya Mahadeo temple, the Matangesvara temple, the Lakshmana temple, and the Varaha Temple.

Day 11 KHAJURAHO – ORCHHA – DELHI (BY TRAIN)
The Golden Triangle tour with Rajasthan & Khajuraho comes with a lot more surprises. Next morning after breakfast, leave for Orchha. After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Orchha like the Jehangiri Mahal, the Raj Mahal and the Laxminarayan temple, famous for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. In the evening, board a train from Jhansi to Delhi.
Day 12 DELHI – AMRITSAR (BY FLIGHT)
Today morning, Pick up from train station & get dropped to the airport to board the flight for Amritsar, after reaching Amritsar, transfer to the hotel, and complete the check –in formalities at your pre-booked hotel. After taking rest for a while leave for excursion to Tarn Taran, built in memory of Guru Arjun Dev. Later drive to Gobindwal, a short drive from Tarn Taran. Afterwards proceed to Hazoor Sahib to visit the Samadhi of the second Sikh guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji.

Day 13 AMRITSAR
In the morning after breakfast, set out to visit Jallianwala bagh, the historic site where hundreds of men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer. Later in the day proceed to Gurudwara Baba Bakala.
In the evening visit Wagah Border for witnessing the Flag Retreat / Changing of Guard Ceremony.

Day 14 DEPARTURE FROM AMRITSAR
Today is the last day of your Golden Triangle with Rajasthan & Khajuraho tour package. Today morning, get transferred to the Amritsar airport to catch the flight for onward destination. The tour ends with the sweet memories with Delightful India Holidays.
