Overview

Corbett National Park Tour is an opportunity to enjoy the diverse wildlife and the splendid landscape. The Corbett National Park was established to protect the endangered species of Bengal Tiger. Explore the dense forest consisting of many trees and riverine belts, lake and grasslands. A walk in the jungle is no less than an adrenaline rush. It is one of the first National Parks to come under the Project Tiger. If you are keen to see various species of birds like Alexandrine, Slaty headed Parakeets, Emerald Dove, White rumped Needletail, Plum headed, Asian Barred, Red breasted, and crested treeswift then hop on an elephant back in Dhikala for a amazing safari. Further the ride takes you to the Ramganga reservoir where you can find many species of birds.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 ARRIVAL IN DELHI

After arrival at Delhi Airport, meet our DIH representative who’ll escort you to the one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Later you will be taken to the city tour, where you will come across two sides of Delhi. One is ‘The Old Delhi’ and other is ‘New Delhi’. The city tour includes visit to a number of attractions such as The Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Jantar Mantar, India Gate, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar.

Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

DAY 2 DELHI - CORBETT

Next morning after breakfast, hit the roads to reach Corbett National Park, situated at an approx distance of 270Kmsfrom Delhi. On reaching Corbett National Park check-in at one of our listed resorts. Rest and relax in the cozy comfort for your resort room. After lunch attend a brief orientation on the Corbett National Park. Later proceed for a jungle walk for exploring the rich flora and fauna of the park.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the resort in Corbett.

DAY 3 CORBETT - DHIKALA

Post breakfast, drive straight to Dhikala. Stop midway for wildlife viewing. Dhikala, is the nerve center of wildlife activities in the Corbett National Park. As you reach Dhikala, get accommodated at one of our listed wildlife resorts. After resting for a while in the resort room, embark for a game drive in Dhikala. After the game drive return to the resort for lunch, after which you proceed to explore this portion of Corbett National Park on seating on an elephant back.

While exploring the forest, you may visit emerald dove, Alexandrine, red breasted, plum headed and slaty headed Parakeets, Asian Barred & white rumped needletail, crested treeswift, oriental pied and Great Hornbills, blue throated Barbet and many more from close quarters.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the resort in Dhikala.

DAY 4 DHIKALA - CORBETT

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Ramganga Reservoir. On reaching Ramganga reservoir, explore the surroundings of the place from the top of the observation tower. It is a great place for birdwatchers as an avid birdwatcher can observe many species of birds, like kingfishers, fish-eagles, terns, storks and many more. During winters the Ramganga Reservoir attracts many migratory bird species, especially water birds from Europe and Central Asia. In the evening return to Corbett for dinner and an overnight stay at the resort in Corbett.

DAY 5 CORBETT - DELHI

After breakfast, return drive straight to Delhi airport. On reaching Delhi airport, board a flight for your onward destination. The tour ends with the sweet memories with Delightful India Holiday.
