DAY 1
DELHI - SHIMLA

After reaching Delhi Airport, our DIH tour representative will pick you up and straight drive to Shimla.

One of the most popular hill Resorts of the North. The town is situated at an altitude of 6810 ft, initially chosen as a sanatorium for invalid European officers, but soon developed into a big hill town and became the summer capital of the country. There’s much to fall in love with here, as you venture into a world of mountains, terraced hillsides and valleys, and dense forests of oak, pine and rhododendrons. Enjoy an overnight stay at Shimla.

DAY 2
SHIMLA

Embrace majestic mountain views within this tranquil city! Begin your city tour with a visit to the famous 19th century Christ Church, which is believed to be the second oldest church in India. The Mall Area offers particularly scenic views of the surrounding pine and deodar forest landscape as you amble around soaking in daily life. You can also indulge in the luxurious woollen garments, local handicrafts and handmade products on offer at various boutique shops.

Enjoy a delicious meal at one of several restaurants before embarking on a trek to Jakhu Hills to witness stunning views of the snowcapped Himalayas. Step into the Gaiety Theater afterwards. Don’t miss Summer Hill, a small town on the outskirts of Shimla and one of the great Indian Independence leader Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite residential retreats. DAY 3
SHIMLA - MANALI

After having breakfast proceed for Manali. Manali is an important hill station of northern India and is the destination of thousands of tourists every year. Its cool atmosphere provides a perfect haven for the ones afflicted by the hot Indian summers. Besides offering quite a few places for sightseeing, Manali is also famous for adventure sports like skiing, hiking, mountaineering, paragliding, rafting, trekking, kayaking, and mountain biking. En- route visit Hanogi Mata Temple. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

DAY 4
MANALI

Today full day excursion visiting Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall). Later in evening Walk through town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery. Hadimba Devi temple-It is small temple situated in the dense forest is very interesting . Hadimba is said to be the wife of Bhima from the epic of Mahabharata. Vashisht, it is an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashisht hot baths where a natural sulphar spring is piped into a modern bath -house. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.

DAY 5
MANALI - DHARAMSHALA

After breakfast, proceed for Dharamshala. On arrival & Check in to the hotel. Evening visit Budhist Monastry, Bhagsunag Temple, Enjoy the natural beauty of Dharamshala. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.

DAY 6
DHARAMSHALA

Today local sightseeing tour of Mcleodganj. Explore Dal Lake, Naddi, Bhagsu Nag Temple, Tibetan Monastery and The Holiness "Dalai Lama Temple"There are large idols of Buddha and the charming church of St. John in the wilderness. Dharamshala was the final resting place of Lord Elgin, a British Viceroy of India during the 19th century. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Dharamshala.

DAY 7
DHARAMSHALA - DALHOUSIE

After breakfast, proceed for Dalhousie. On arrival & Check in to the hotel.

Dalhousie with its quaint settings and brilliant weather, has ample to make you fall in love with. No wonder that it was one of the favourite summer towns for the British during the colonial era. It still has the same charm about it and sees lesser tourists as compared to the other more mainstream destinations. Tall, dense pines, meandering lanes, tiny cafes and happy locals are a permanent feature of Dalhousie. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Dalhousie.

DAY 8
DALHOUSIE

After breakfast today visit Khajjiar - Often called India's Switzerland the exquisite glade of Khajjiar (1960m) has a circumference of about 5 km.

Along with its fringes thick forests of deodar climb the slopes snow-line rests above these woods. At Khajjiar there is a 12th century temple dedicated to KhajjI Nag. Within the temple are life size wooden images of the five Pandav brothers. You can also visit the British-era churches of St John (1863) and St Francis (1894) set among the pines at opposite ends of the ridge. The market areas at Subhash Chowk and Gandhi Chowk are linked by lanes – Thandi Sarak (Cold Rd) and Garam Sarak (Hot Rd). The latter lane receives more sunshine. Later back to Hotel . DAY 9

DAY 10
DALHOUSIE - AMRITSAR

After breakfast, proceed for Amritsar. On arrival & Check in to the hotel. Later, freshen up and leave for Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple. In the evening, you are free to spend the time at your leisure. You can try out Amritsari Naan which can be found in the local dhabas and restaurants. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Amritsar.

DAY 11
AMRITSAR

After breakfast, visit Jallianwala Bagh. This historical area is known for the massacre commissioned by General Dyer, during the British Rule. In the evening, visit Wagah border. The guard changing ceremony every evening in the India- Pakistan border is the highlight of the area. By late evening, return to the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Amritsar.

DAY 12
AMRITSAR - CHANDIGARH

After breakfast, proceed for Chandigarh. On arrival & Check in to the hotel. Later, freshen up and visit Rock Garden - the lifetime dream of Mr. Nek Chand, Rose Garden And Sukhna Lake in the evening. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Chandigarh.

DAY 13
CHANDIGARH - DELHI

This is the last day of the tour. Check-out from the hotel on time and proceed towards to Delhi. On the arrival, Transfer to the Delhi airport for your flight back home or towards next destination. The tour ends with the sweet memories with Delightful India Holiday.
