DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN DELHI

After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. On the 2nd day of the tour, embark on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions scheduled for the day are Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, President’s House, Lotus Temple and Chandni Chowk. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show.

DAY 2
DELHI - PUSHKAR

Have your breakfast and leave for Pushkar by road. On arrival, move to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. The city is one of the most sacred Hindu towns in India. Upon reaching Pushkar, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Later in the day attend the prayer ceremony at the Brahma temple. Also take a holy dip on any of the 25 ghats of Pushkar Lake and also visit Savitri Temple.

DAY 3
PUSHKAR - UDAIPUR

Enjoy your breakfast and then begin your journey to Udaipur. On arrival, move to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Spend the day at leisure, interacting with the locals, eating authentic Rajasthan food, shopping at the local market etc. In the evening enjoy boat ride at the Pichola Lake. Also visit the Lake Palace, one of the finest examples of architectural and cultural marvel.

DAY 4
UDAIPUR

Post breakfast, embark on a city tour of Udaipur. Visit some of the major tourist hotspots covering the City Palace Museum, Sahelion Ki Bari, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, Folk Art Museum and Jagdish Temple. In the evening visit the The grand City Palace on the banks of the lake along with the Monsoon Palace on the hill above that enhances the beauty of this magnificent city.

DAY 5
UDAIPUR - JAIPUR

Post breakfast, leave for Jaipur by road. Upon arrival check-in at one our enlisted hotel. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is also called the Pink City. The reason for this is that most of the monuments in Jaipur are painted pink. Later in the day explore some other major tourist attractions of Jaipur including the Monkey Temple, Albert Hall Museum, and Birla Mandir. Evening to be spent as to your liking.

DAY 6
JAIPUR

After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for exploring the various colors of this beautiful city, Jaipur. Jaipur is full of attractions that speak volumes about the glory of Rajputana kingdom. These attractions form a part of our itinerary and we start with visiting the Amber Fort which is tucked over a hill (reached via an elephant ride). Next we will be visiting the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, splendid Hawa Mahal built on the architectural principles of a natural cooling system and splendiferous City Palace and Jal Mahal. Enjoying the local treats like shopping, food and rickshaw ride are reserved for evening.

DAY 7
JAIPUR – ABHANERI – FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA

Post breakfast, leave for Agra by road. Stop on the way to visit Abhaneri-Step well and Ftehpur Sikri. Abhaneri-Chand Baori is popular for the amazing 'Baoris' (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple. Fatehpur Sikri listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar. The city highlights some of the iconic structures of the Mughal era.

Later, drive towards Agra. On reaching Agra, check-in to the hotel. Later proceed to see sunset at Taj from Mehtab Bagh Garden. Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 8
AGRA - GWALIOR

You need to wake up early on this day as the tour schedule starts in the wee hours. First thing in the morning would be catching up the sight of the beautiful Taj Mahal as it glistens with the rays of the morning sun. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum that is completely made up of white marble. It was built by the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO world heritage site and is a true example of Islamic style of architecture.

After exploring the epitome of love, return to the hotel for breakfast and then check out.

Later drive for Gwalior. Upon reaching Gwalior, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Gwalior covering Gwalior fort, Sas-Bahu temples and the Archaeological Museum.

Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay in Gwalior.

DAY 9
GWALIOR - KHAJURAHO

On the 9th day of the Golden Triangle tour with Khajuraho, drive straight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check-in at one of our listed hotels. After resting for a while, proceed for a guided tour to Khajuraho. Start driving towards the group of famous Chandela dynasty temples.

These temples are worldwide known for their spectacular erotic sculptures and carvings. The Western Group of temples that are dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu includes the Kandariya Mahadeo temple, the Matangesvara temple, the Lakshmana temple, and the Varaha Temple.

DAY 10
KHAJURAHO – ORCHHA - DELHI

The North India with Central India Tour comes with a lot more surprises. Next morning after breakfast, leave for Orchha. After resting and relaxing for a while, step out to visit the major tourist attractions of Orchha like the Jehangiri Mahal, the Raj Mahal and the Laxminarayan temple, famous for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. In the evening, board a train from Jhansi to Delhi. Upon reaching Delhi, check-in at one of our listed hotels.

DAY 11
DELHI – AMRITSAR (BY FLIGHT)

Post breakfast, you would be heading to the Delhi airport to board the next flight to Amritsar. As you will arrive, our tour representative will escort you to the hotel. Check-in at one of our listed hotels. After taking rest for a while leave for excursion to Tarn Taran, built in memory of Guru Arjun Dev. Later drive to Gobindwal, a short drive from Tarn Taran. Afterwards proceed to Hazoor Sahib to visit the Samadhi of the second Sikh guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji.

DAY 12
AMRITSAR

In the morning after breakfast, set out to visit Jallianwala bagh, the historic site where hundreds of men, women and children were massacred by British General Michael Dyer. Later in the day proceed to Gurudwara Baba Bakala.

In the evening visit Wagah Border for witnessing the Flag Retreat / Changing of Guard Ceremony.

DAY 13
AMRITSAR – DELHI (BY FLIGHT)

Today is the last day of your 14 days North India with Central India Tour. Today morning, get transferred to the Amritsar airport for your return journey back to Delhi. As you will reach Delhi, check in to a pre-booked hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, get transferred to the Delhi airport to catch the flight for onward destination. The tour ends with the sweet memories with Delightful India Holidays.
