ITINERARY
DAY 1 JAIPUR – PUSHKAR - JAIPUR
Upon arrival representative will pick you up in the morning at 8.00 am from your desired location in Jaipur to proceed for Pushkar by Car. As you sit in the car, can you feel the excitement that will grip your mind and heart as you start this wonderful tour with your drive to Pushkar. On arrival and proceed for sightseeing tour of Pushkar.
Pushkar : one of the sacred places for Hindus having more than 400 temples and the most important World Famous only one temple is Brahma Temple (The creator God). Visit Brahma Temple – devoted to Lord Brahma is the main appeal of Pushkar – Pushkar Lake and Hindu temples. Tourists can explore the rugged terrain of the Great Indian Desert of Thar using camels. The Aravallis are one of the world’s oldest mountain ranges. Pushkar is surrounded by sandy fields, small dunes, beautiful hills and offers ample opportunities to witness mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets.
Brahma Temple : The one and only temple in the world dedicated to Brahma, the creator of the world in Hindu mythology. Legend has it that his wife placed a curse on him that restricts his worship to this one city.
Savitri Temple : Set at a climb of 650 steps, this temple is dedicated to Brahma’s wife. One you reach the top, you’ll have a view of the city and lake second to no other. Make the hike at sunrise for the perfect moment.
Pushkar Lake : As per the Hindu scriptures, it is the “Tirtha Raj”- the king of pilgrimage sites related to a water-body. Pushkar also houses the most prominent temple of Brahma. The shimmering water of the lake, reflecting the clear sky and majestic hills, is a beautiful sight. The beautiful lake is surrounded by hills on three sides and overlooking vast desert on the fourth. The surrounding hills are home to many interesting sites like the “Agasthya” caves in Snake Mountain.
