DAY 1

Your luxury Golden Triangle tour of India kicks off on your arrival in Delhi, where a member of our team will welcome you at the airport. From here, you’ll be chauffeured to the Imperial hotel. Centrally located in the heart of New Delhi, this landmark hotel was built in 1934 and designed by Lutyen’s assistant, Bromfield. It evokes the days of the British Raj and exudes style and elegance. DAY 2
IN DELHI

A guided tour of both Old and New Delhi today will introduce you to highlights, including the Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk; India Gate, the Sikh Temple, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutab Minar. There are lots to see and do in Delhi, and this is merely a suggestion. The sights are flexible on the day if you’d like to add, remove or replace. You’ll return to the Imperial in the evening, though your chauffeur remains available if you’d like to dine out (we’d recommend the award-winning Indian Accent or Bukhara).

DAY 3
DELHI TO AGRA (STAY AT THE TAJVIEW, AGRA)

This morning you’ll proceed to the next stop on your luxury Golden Triangle tour – Agra, home of the magnificent Taj Mahal – for an overnight stay at the Taj Hotel & Convention Centre. After having had the chance to freshen up over lunch, you’ll be met by your guide to explore Agra Fort before ending the day at the Taj Mahal. Sunset is a beautiful time to visit with the marble taking on an orange hue. Back at the Tajview hotel this evening, your Superior Room affords a wonderful view of the monument. Without the restriction of visiting hours, you can catch the Taj Mahal glittering in the moonlight after dark or a peachy pink at dawn. DAY 4
AGRA TO JAIPUR, VIA FATEHPUR SIKRI OR ABHANERI (STAY AT SAMODE HAVELI, JAIPUR)

This morning brings an optional sunrise return to the Taj Mahal. After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll later be chauffeured to Jaipur, with the option of stopping en-route at your choice of Fatehpur Sikri (a 16th-century Mughal fort-palace built by Emperor Akbar and abandoned after just 14 years) or Chand Baori (an impressive stepwell in the small village of Abhaneri, dating back over a thousand years).

When arriving in Jaipur later today, you’ll be assisted with checking in to Samode Haveli for a three-night stay. This charming haveli exudes local character and, at over 175 years old, it offers the opportunity to experience one of India’s charming heritage hotels. MYSORE TO COORG (STAY AT TAJ MADIKERI RESORT & SPA, COORG)

DAY 9
CHIKMAGALUR TO HAMPI (STAY AT EVOLVE BACK, HAMPI)

Leave by road for Hampi in the morning – for an overnight stay at the Evolve Back, Hampi .Hampi is so mystical with its boulder-strewn landscapes that you might feel like you’ve landed on the moon!

DAY 10
IN HAMPI

Prepared to be bowled over by the mesmeric boulders of Hampi! Navigate through giant rock formations to witness stellar examples of Dravidian architecture. Constructed by the last great Hindu dynasty, some of these architectural marvels date back to the 14th century and are scattered amid the craggy hills and plains. From the historic King’s Balance to the stunning Queen’s Bath, the grand Lotus Mahal (palace) to the colossal Elephant Stables, there is much to discover.

DAY 11
IN HAMPI

Envision the former glory of the musical pillars of Vitthal Temple, standing tall in the heart of an erstwhile bazaar and see the awe-inspiring Stone Chariot. Virupaksha Temple, the principal place of worship, is close at hand. Venture past lush paddy fields and lethargic water buffaloes to see the curious monolith of Ugra Narasimha with its bulging eyes and ample mane.

DAY 12
HAMPI TO GOA (STAY AT THE LEELA, GOA)

Leave by road for Goa in the morning – for an overnight stay at the The Leela, Goa. Goa’s legendary allure is its white sandy beaches and glittering blue seas.

DAY 13
IN GOA

Start the day by visiting North Goa’s Panjim with the Latin quarter Fontainhas and the fruit and vegetable market, proceeding towards Old Goa with its Portuguese style Churches and famous Hindu Temple – Mahalsa. Continue on to a spice plantation for an authentic Goan-Hindu vegetarian lunch. Then drive to South Goa to see the palatial Menezes Braganza House in Chandôr. Drive through Margão and then head back to your hotel.

DAY 14
IN GOA

Relax at Hotel and enjoyed the time at beach.

DAY 15
DEPART FROM GOA

Check out and transfer to Goa airport to catch flight to your onward destination.
