DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN DELHI

After arrival at Delhi Airport, meet our DIH representative who’ll escort you to the one of our listed hotels in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel to relax in the cozy comfort of its room. Delhi the capital city of India is always alive with activity. You will be amazed to see colorful crowds moving through public places like markets. In the evening you may venture out to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.

DAY 2
DELHI

After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. On the 2nd day of the tour, embark on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions scheduled for the day are Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, President’s House, Lotus Temple and Chandni Chowk. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show.

DAY 3
DELHI - JAIPUR

Post breakfast, drive straight to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at one our enlisted hotels. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is also called the Pink City. The reason for this is that most of the monuments in Jaipur are painted pink. Later in the day explore some other major tourist attractions of Jaipur including the Monkey Temple, Albert Hall Museum, and Birla Mandir. Evening to be spent as to your liking.

DAY 4
JAIPUR

After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for exploring the various colors of this beautiful city, Jaipur. Jaipur is full of attractions that speak volumes about the glory of Rajputana kingdom. These attractions form a part of our itinerary and we start with visiting the Amber Fort which is tucked over a hill (reached via an elephant ride). Next we will be visiting the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, splendid Hawa Mahal built on the architectural principles of a natural cooling system and splendiferous City Palace and Jal Mahal. Enjoying the local treats like shopping, food and rickshaw ride are reserved for evening.

DAY 5
JAIPUR - AGRA

Post breakfast, leave for Agra by road. Stop on the way to visit Abhaneri-Step well and Ftehpur Sikri. Later, drive towards Agra. On reaching Agra, check-in to the hotel and later proceed to see sunset at Taj from Mehtab Bagh Garden. Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 6
AGRA – VARANASI (BY TRAIN)

Early morning visit the Taj Mahal, the seventh wonder of the world and admire for its majestic and magnificent architecture design. This alluring white marble monument with intricate designs in its interiors never fails to enchant a visitor. Later visit the Pearl Mosque and the tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Another must watch architectural wonder, is The Red Fort that is frequented by hundreds of visitors every day.

After sightseeing, take a transfer to the railway station and board your train to Varanasi. Have a comfortable journey in overnight Train..

DAY 7
VARANASI

You will be reaching Varanasi, early in the morning. On reaching, check-in to hotel. After taking some rest, visit Sarnath which is about 10 kms from the holy city of Varanasi. It is the place where more than 2500 years ago Buddha delivered his first sermon. Later, drive back to Hotel.

DAY 8
VARANASI

Also known as Kashi and Banaras, Varanasi is one of the holiest cities of the country. It is believed to be the center of learning and civilization. So, you begin this day with a boat ride on the river Ganges.

Enjoy the sunrise and later, you can spend some time at the bathing Ghats of this city. Do visit attractions such as Bharat Mata Temple, Banaras Hindu University and Kasi Vishwanath Temple.

DAY 9
VARANASI - BODHGAYA

This morning, you take a transfer to Bodhgaya which is 247 kms from Varanasi. On reaching Bodhgaya, check-in to the hotel. Take some rest during the day and you can leave for attending evening prayer at Mahabodhi temple. Later, return to the hotel.

DAY 10
BODHGAYA

Bodhgaya is counted one among the four most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. After having your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing trip around this beautiful place. Explore the beauty of Buddhist culture and lifestyle with a stroll around this place. Visit places like the Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River and Sujata Temple. After your sightseeing tour, return to the hotel.

DAY 11
BODHGAYA – RAJGIR - PATNA

Leave for Rajgir this morning, after having your breakfast. Rajgir is 74 kms from Bodhgaya. Treat your eyes with the beauty of this valley-town and its attractions like Vulture Hill, World Peace Stupa and Bamboo's Garden.
After sightseeing around Rajgir, head towards, Nalanda which is 18 kms from Rajgir. Here, visit the ruins of world oldest University. It is one of the oldest Universities of the World and an International Centre for Buddhist Studies.
Later, drive towards Patna which is 76 kms from Nalanda. On reaching, check-in to the hotel.

DAY 12
PATNA - KUSHINAGAR

After having your breakfast, leave for Kushinagar which is approx 253 kms from Patna. En-route visit Vaishali, the ancient city of Bihar and enjoy your lunch. On reaching Kushinagar, check-in to the hotel. Freshen up and then leave for sightseeing at attractions like Mahaparinirwana Temple which is believed to be the place where Buddha took his last breathe and Rambhar Stupa, cremation site of lord Buddha and Japan Temple.

DAY 13
KUSHINAGAR - LUMBINI

Have your breakfast and then leave for your next destination, Lumbini. Lumbini is 170 kms from Kushinagar. While going to Lumbini (Nepal), complete all the formalities at India/Nepal border for Visa/Immigration.
On reaching, check-in to the hotel. Lumbini is one place which demands a must-visit from all the devotees of Lord Buddha. Explore the place with a stroll and later return to the hotel.

DAY 14
LUMBINI - SRAVASTI

This morning, after breakfast, leave for Kapilvastu which is 10 kms from Lumbini. Then, head towards Sravasti which is located at a distance of 150 kms. On reaching, go for sightseeing around at Sah Mahet which is known as the Capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala, Jetawana Gardens and Buddhist temples.

After enjoying sightseeing, take a transfer to the Balarampur railway station which is 19 Km from Sravasti and board your train to Delhi.

DAY 15
SRAVASTI - DHARAMSHALA

On reaching Delhi, drive towards your next destination, Mcleoudganj which is located at a distance of around 500 kms. On reaching, check-in to the hotel.

DAY 16
DHARAMSHALA

Dharamshala is a beautiful hill station which offers scenic locations and a pleasant weather to all. Later, return to the hotel.
