Delhi the capital city of India is always alive with activity. You will be amazed to see colorful crowds moving through public places like markets. In the evening you may venture out to explore the pulsating nightlife of Delhi.

DAY 2
DELHI

After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. On the 2nd day of the tour, embark on a city tour of Delhi. The major tourist attractions scheduled for the day are Qutab Minar, Red Fort, India Gate, the Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, President’s House, Lotus Temple and Chandni Chowk. In the evening revisit Red Fort to witness the impressive light and sound show.

DAY 3
DELHI - JAIPUR

Post breakfast, drive straight to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at one our enlisted hotels. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and is also called the Pink City. The reason for this is that most of the monuments in Jaipur are painted pink. Later in the day explore some other major tourist attractions of Jaipur including the Monkey Temple, Albert Hall Museum, and Birla Mandir. Evening to be spent as to your liking.

DAY 4
JAIPUR

After having your breakfast in the morning, leave for exploring the various colors of this beautiful city, Jaipur. Jaipur is full of attractions that speak volumes about the glory of Rajputana kingdom. These attractions form a part of our itinerary and we start with visiting the Amber Fort which is tucked over a hill (reached via an elephant ride). Next we will be visiting the Jantar Mantar astronomical observatory, splendid Hawa Mahal built on the architectural principles of a natural cooling system and splendiferous City Palace and Jal Mahal. Enjoying the local treats like shopping, food and rickshaw ride are reserved for evening.

DAY 5
JAIPUR – ABHANERI – FATEHPUR SIRKI - AGRA

Post breakfast, leave for Agra by road. Stop on the way to visit Abhaneri-Step well and Ftehpur Sikri. Visit the Abhaneri-Chand Baori. The place is popular for the amazing 'Baoris' (step wells) and Harshat Mata Temple. Now you will start for Agra but en-route we will visit the old deserted town of the Mughal Dynasty, Fatehpur Sikri.

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar. The city highlights some of the iconic structures of the Mughal era. Later, drive towards Agra. On reaching Agra, check-in to the hotel and later proceed to visit Agra Fort, also known as Red Fort is a UNESCO world heritage site. Also visit the Itimad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb. Both the Agra Fort and Itimad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb are famous for their brilliant architecture.

DAY 6
AGRA – JHANSI - ORCHHA

You need to wake up early on this day as the tour schedule starts in the wee hours. First thing in the morning would be catching up the sight of the beautiful Taj Mahal as it glistens with the rays of the morning sun. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is actually a mausoleum that is completely made up of white marble. It was built by the great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO world heritage site and is a true example of Islamic style of architecture.

After exploring the epitome of love, return to the hotel for breakfast and then check out.

Later leave for Orchha. En-route stop at Jhansi to visit the Jhansi Fort and The Government Museum. The museum showcases the weapons, statues and dresses used during the Chandela dynasty. It also features a picture gallery of the Gupta period. After the visit, resume drive to Orchha. Upon reaching Orchha, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Evening at leisure. DAY 7
ORCHHA - KHAJURAHO

Post breakfast, proceed to visit a princely state, Orchha lies in the Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. The town of Orchha was founded in 15th century AD and in today's world it is renowned for its numerous temples, palaces and forts. Highly popular amongst them are the Jehangir Mahal of Orchha (Classic Mughal architecture), Raj Mahal and Laxmi Narayan temple (mural paintings).

As you would be done visiting the attractions of Orchha, get back on the road to Khajuraho. On arrival at Khajuraho, you would be checking into a pre-booked hotel.

DAY 8
KHAJURAHO

Day 8 of our wonderful tour is dedicated in exploring the world heritage sites of Khajuraho. Divided into eastern and western group of temples, Khajuraho is known for its cluster of Hindu and Jain temples. As you would be done with the breakfast, the sightseeing tour of Khajuraho will commence. Under this, you would be visiting Laxmi & Varha temples, Kandariya Mahadev temple and Devi Jagdambi temple.

Kandariya Mahadev temple is one of the largest Hindu temples in Khajuraho. It is famous for its stone carvings, the numbers of which count more than 900.

On the other hand, Devi Jagdambi temple is a group of 25 beautifully decorated temples. These temples were built during the Chandella dynasty rule in India (10th-12th centuries) and are famous for erotic carvings

DAY 9
KHAJURAHO – VARANASI (BY FLIGHT)

Post breakfast, you would be heading to the airport to board the next flight to Varanasi. As you will arrive, our tour representative will escort you to the hotel. Later leave for Sarnath (6 km away). Sarnath in the northeast of Varanasi is where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. A highly sacred Buddhist religious place, Sarnath lies at the confluence of two rivers-Ganga and Gomati. Popular attractions here are Dhamek Stupa, Sarnath Museum and Chaukhandi Stupa.

DAY 10
VARANASI

An early morning boat ride in the sacred Ganga River would be arranged for you. After breakfast, you would be visiting Alamgir mosque, Dashashwamedh ghat and Bharat Mata temple.

Also known as Beni Madhav Ka Darera, Alamgir mosque is a brilliant example of Hindu and Mughal architecture. The mosque is situated on the banks of Ganges River. The city of Varanasi is known for its religious ghats. Most spectacular amongst them is the Dashashwamedh ghat, which is located close to the Vishwanath temple.

DAY 11
VARANASI – DELHI (BY FLIGHT)

Right after your breakfast, you would be transferred to the Varanasi airport for your return journey back to Delhi. As you will reach Delhi, check in to a pre-booked hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. In the evening, get transferred to the Delhi airport to catch the flight for onward destination.
